AVIC Trigger Wire Explanation

The Trigger In/Out wires are for a 3rd-party telematics/tracking system that may be installed in trucks (or other commercial vehicles) which may have an external trigger input. AVIC dash cameras have their own G-Sensor built-in the device. If a G-sensor event (shock/impact) happens during the drive and/or the driver pushes the Emergency button, the Trigger out line sends a positive output (pulse) for 5 seconds to the tracking system (if present).
